Jethro-Sold

Jethro is an AQHA registered 6 year old gelding, with more life experiences than most horses in their teens. He was used to doctor cattle on the ranch on a daily basis. You can rope a cow, step off to doctor it and he will hold the line tight until you tell him differently. Jethro has such a go with the flow personality. He has been asked to rope feral hogs in the deep brush, and given lessons to kids after standing in the stall after a few days in just a halter and lead rope. He has roped out of the box on the head side, and will pull strong. His willing attitude to do whatever is asked of him, with a low quiet head and soft eye, is what I admire most about this gelding. He is great out on the trail, carefully placing his feet to take care of his rider in any situation. He has an excellent one-handed neck rein, and will move willingly off of your leg cues. From rough country, to metroparks on the east coast with runners, stollers, dogs, and traffic- Jethro handles it all in stride. No matter what direction you want to go, this phenomenal gelding will be sure to take you there. He has all the buttons: side pass, turn around, leg yield, but just as easily-point and go. Jethro is sound with a clean set of x-rays, and up to date on teeth, vaccines, coggins, and health paper.
