Maverick is not a complicated horse to ride. Point him in the direction you want him to go, and he will do it. Watch how he stays in that smooth lope in the pasture on a relaxed, loose rein. He was used on the ranch in North Texas, handles a rope well, and has no problem pulling weight at the end of the rope. Maverick is sure footed on the trail, crosses logs, water, bridges, etc. Watch his video and let him speak for himself. He gets along with everyone in the pasture, and has good stall manners. Maverick will lead, or follow on the trail with other horses. He has been exposed to cattle, all types of farm machinery, four wheelers, tractors and gunfire. Maverick will ground tie to be bathed, saddled and groomed. He loads easily on the trailer, and will stand quiet as a church mouse. Here is a chance to own a gelding that is an experienced ranch horse, with clean legs, good conformation and sound bill of health.
