Piper-Sold
Watch Video! Peter Piper Picked a Peck of Pickled Peppers. There's no tongue-twisters or surprises involved with this deep bodied gelding. From his goofy, friendly and outgoing personality, to his silky smooth travel- Piper is one of a kind. He has a gentle disposition to be around, and willingness to try each time you get on his back. Piper does whatever has been asked of him, with a go-getter attitude. In the video, you will get a glimpse of what his reactions to new challenges look like. PIper has been exposed to the bullwhip, but had never felt the concussion or muzzle blast of a gun off his back. In the video, I shot off of him for the first time, and on the 3rd balloon, you can see what his reaction to a scary new obstacle would be. In the arena, Piper rides around like a horse that could go right into a ranch class and be competitive. Switch to an english saddle, and he will extend out and look just as pretty. He will ride off of your leg and seat cues, or just as easily point and go for the novice rider.
Piper is a joy to have in the barn. He has been in both a stall environment, and turned out on pasture with no bad habits. He is the perfect size for a rider with bad knees, as he is easy to get on and off, but stocky enough to carry almost any size rider comfortably. Pictures don’t do Piper justice. He stands 15 hands, and weighs about 1,200 lbs. This is a solid made gelding, with good foot and bone. He has been exposed to all farm machinery, equipment, road traffic, gunfire, deer, cattle- you name it. Sound and up to date on teeth, vaccines, coggins, and health paper. This gelding has been nothing short of a pleasure to work with since he stepped foot on our property. No matter what direction you want to go, this phenomenal gelding will be sure to take you there. He has all the buttons: side pass, turn around, leg yield, but just as easily-point and go. Gentle, flashy and broke, with unlimited potential!
