Docs Christmas Holiday-Watch Video!
Check out this papered up red dun gelding! Watch his video and you will see why we have enjoyed having Gru around. Ride him on the ranch, down the trail or haul him to a ranch horse show, playday or rodeo scene. Here is a family oriented gelding that can ride with some class for the adults, and gentle enough for the young kids to ride around. Gru has a walk, trot and lope that is smooth as silk. He is great out on the trail, carefully placing his feet to take care of his rider in any situation. He has a wonderful personality, if you are looking for a horse to bond with, and spend time with outside of riding- Gru is your guy. He has an excellent one handed neck rein, and will move willingly off of your leg cues. He has been hauled around the country, and ridden in the arena as a lesson horse. From rough country, to metroparks on the east coast with runners, stollers, dogs, and traffic- Gru handles it all in stride. He gets along great with the other horses in the pasture, and has no vices pulling him out of the stall on Monday morning.
Gru stands quietly for the farrier, and will ground tie until you tell him differently. He is the perfect size for a rider with bad knees, as he is easy to get on and off on the trail. He has been exposed to all farm machinery, equipment, road traffic, gunfire, deer, cattle- you name it. He is sound and up to date on teeth, vaccines, coggins, and health paper. This gelding has been nothing short of a pleasure to work with since he stepped foot on our property. No matter what direction you want to go, this phenomenal gelding will be sure to take you there. He has all the buttons: side pass, turn around, leg yield, but just as easily-point and go. Gentle, flashy and broke, with unlimited potential!
